The Goose House

Recently converted from an old pottery studio, this cottage has wonderful views from the stoep over the duck ponds to the busy fishing harbour and bay beyond. 

All floors are tiled and the ceiling is wooden beamed.  Natural blinds shade the windows, creating a cool and private space within.

Watch the antics of our many geese, ducks, goslings and ducklings.  They are always grateful for a few scraps of bread, salad or veggies between feeding times!

The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, one a double with a big old fashioned bed and the other a twin with two single beds.  Each has an overhead fan, bedside tables, reading lamps and a comfy chair. 

The open plan living area has a TV and big windows for the views.  There is a neat, attractive kitchen with breakfast bar, which has two hotplates and a microwave for cooking; a fridge with freezer compartment; toaster, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities.  The spacious cupboards are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.

There is a bathroom with toilet, sink and spacious shower.

Double doors from the living area lead onto the covered stoep with built-in braai which overlooks the harbour.  Braaiing is a favourite pastime to round off a relaxing day.
